You would need to provide the exact content of the comments (you will have to go directly to the database) to diagnose this. However, the solution will be to alter the content in the database. Code can be added to prevent the content (once it is determined) but you would have to add this as this module is not actively being developed.

Can you tell me what table, field is null from this error? I have surveyed the two tickets in the database, and can't seem to see any problems.

I can't tell anything from just this error. Are there other errors in the log? Comparing the data from a good record (you will have to go directly to the database) and the bad one should reveal the problem.

Which log would help?

The IIS log just shows that the ticket was accessed.

2016-05-11 17:03:22 192.168.100.12 GET /BHAvatar/TaskEdit.aspx TaskID=52 80 - 192.168.242.34 Mozilla/5.0+(Windows+NT+6.1;+WOW64;+Trident/7.0;+rv:11.0)+like+Gecko 500 0 0 413

Your internal log says the same.
7906 52 Robert James viewed ticket. 2016-05-11 10:03:02.763 3
7907 52 Waheed Bhatti viewed ticket. 2016-05-11 10:03:21.817 2

I do not believe any log file will help. I suggest opening up the table of data in SQL server and looking at the data in the TaskDetails table for the records related to the Task(s) that are giving you the error.

You will know what records these are because the TaskID in that table will be the Task ID that you see when viewing the task in the application.

We did that, and cant see anything different from any of the rest of the working tickets. Am I looking at the userID or in the description?

Is it possible to post the contents of those rows so I can see it? Otherwise, there is nothing else I can think of to do
